Day 64. Topic = It is Cold Without My Jacket.

This photo was a lucky shot. I went on a scooter/my brother chooses a random toy to ride on ride. All of the sudden it had gotten a lot darker. I knew it was because of clouds but I did not expect to turn around and see this. This is personally a favorite of mine now.
This was the look I get from Patrick after he crashes into me after taking the first picture.
"Alex! We are about to go down the big hill!"
This is the face you get when you go down the hill to fast on a little plastic toy and fall. You also get your jacket stolen because he said, and I quote, "I don't need a jacket; I'm already wearing a sweater!". After he fell he realized that it was cold and indeed he DID need a jacket, so he wanted mine...
Even after he steals my jacket, he still is so darn cute!

#63. Topic = Lace and Pearls and Flowers Oh My!
Today I made a flower clip for myself. Making this takes a lot of time and burnt fingers from hot glue gun. I first bought a simple flower clip from Hobby Lobby and added some lace around the edges. After that I glued a strand of silver pearls on the lace and made a small loop. And, wa-la! A fancy flower hair clip! I made it for a English Country dance I am attending in about two weeks. I get to dress up in Pride and Prejudice style clothes and *try* to dance. Hopefully I won't step on too many toes!

Photo 62. Topic = Late Night Photos.

Excuse how late this post is. The Internet has been not working well all day. It is still a photo of the day though! With all the fog that was showing tonight, I could see A LOT of spiderwebs everywhere. I snapped this photo of one of the spiderwebs and its nice and creepy. Now if I could have a photo of a spider...

Photo # 61. Topic = Dr. Suess is Loved.

In honer of the legendary Dr. Seuss's birthday tomorrow, there was a Dr. Seuss themed get-together at my house today. Since I love art, I always love to make a sample of the craft that we are going to make. First, we made these Lorax mustaches. Thanks to my brother, Patrick, for being my model because I like only one side of the camera. He is a very mysterious Lorax.
After some crafts and snack, we walked down to our local park and I just felt the need to take a sunglasses picture because of this warm weather.

Day 60. Topic = The Extra Day.

So some people have been joking about the name of the blog. They keep on saying that it is not correct. Yes, I KNOW there is 366 days this year and it is just ironic that I started the blog on a leap year. I think of it this way, if I told you my blog was called "One girl, 366 days" wouldn't you be a bit confused? So just think of this as a extra post for the extra day. Now, about the photo. I love to doodle. It is like a little addiction of mine. My sketch book is filled with random sayings. words, and mini drawings that I think of. I guess this goes along with my obsession for pens. When there is a blank space in my planner or even along the sides of papers, this kind of drawing happens. So happy leap year everybody!

Day 59. Topic = Stuck.

This topic name fits two subjects. First of all, the picture. When I said "stuck" in the topic name, I first thought of how this faucet for the water outside is stuck. Because it is stuck, it was just sitting there, drip, drip, drip. Right before I somehow managed to get the water from stop running, I took a picture. The second reason the topic name fits is because I am stuck. Well, not exactly. None of my family has been feeling the best, causing us to just lounge around. I think this is a nice change for once, we useally are running around like crazy. I hope to feel better soon and take some pictures outside of my house and yard!

58. Topic = Cooking.

I am no chef. I do not really enjoy cooking unlike my mother who lives in the kitchen. When most of the family is sick, it turns into a fend-for-yourself meal. I have absolutely no problem with that but when I walk into the kitchen, I have no idea what I am doing. This ends up with me making something completely random. When I somehow can not find anything, I make the guaranteed to be yummy omlet. Most people might think of an omlet as a breakfast food, but not me. That is a food that I could eat any time of the day. So yes, I am proud that I made myself an omlet. And it was tasty, too!
*Also, I cannot post anything on Facebook right now. Temporary shut down. No worries.*
